I'm a doting mommy of a dorky dog...

I think my favorite model to snap in action is my (and my boyfriend's) Beagle, Apollo. She's constantly cracking us up, and sometimes seems to enjoy being photographed.

Accordingly, I decided to post a few of my favorite shots of my dogger.

The day we adopted her - she was SO tiny!!!

This was the first time she ever saw snow. She ran around like crazy!

Week One: The sun shined through!

In the midst of a week of supposed "constant" rain, I suddenly noticed a sunny day outside and thought, "Hey! I'm gonna take advantage of this!" ... And the result follows.

All were done without the use of flash or mechanical lighting of any sort. It was a fantastic afternoon, and I enjoyed spending time with an old friend and a new friend.

It's hard to believe this park was completely under water just a few weeks ago! This should give you a good idea of how incredibly flooded it was...
