Painting with light in the dark of night!

So, like all the students in Peter Hobbs' Intro to Photography classes, I was given the assignment to capture an image with painted light. Lisa, Layne, Julianna and I went galavanting in the scary, dark night around PC... And let me tell you, it was the most fun I've had in a LONG time! Check out a few of my favorites from the experiment:

Week Two: Apples and Oranges

It's been a long week, but the colder weather makes me enjoy being outdoors much more. I've been meaning to get out to Ellijay to get some good apples, so yesterday, Will and I went to Putnam Orchards. The cloudy skies made lighting that seemed to match Will's stormy attitude, and I made him my "model".

 

 

I'm a doting mommy of a dorky dog...

I think my favorite model to snap in action is my (and my boyfriend's) Beagle, Apollo. She's constantly cracking us up, and sometimes seems to enjoy being photographed.

Accordingly, I decided to post a few of my favorite shots of my dogger.

The day we adopted her - she was SO tiny!!!

This was the first time she ever saw snow. She ran around like crazy!
